The Indian railways on Tuesday announced its latest tour package under Bharat Gaurav tourist south star.
The summer holiday special train would start from Coimbatore from May 11 and it would go till the Kashmir Valley.
Tourists could board the train at Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri, Hosur, Yelahanka, Perambur, Vijayawada and Warangal and they could go to destinations like Agra, Amritsar, Sri Nagar, Sonmarg and Gulmarg covering over 6,000 kilometers in 12 days, according to Sandeep Radhakrishnan, commercial inspector of Southern railways.
The train comprises eight coaches of third class AC, second class AC and first class AC. South Indian meals would be provided to passengers on and off board.
