1873 women get Degrees at VCW

Around 1873 women received degree certificates at the convocation ceremony of Vellalar College for Women (VCW), Erode on Wednesday. 
The chief guest Dr.K.Murugavel, Registrar (i/c), Bharathiar University, Coimbatore conferred degrees on 1873 graduates which included 1490 UG graduates of 2018-2021 batch and 383 PG graduates of 2019-2021 batch. 

Among them, 35 graduates received gold medal, including 23 UG and 12 PG graduates.He congratulated the students for their grand success and insisted the value of women’s education especially in India for their radiant future.

The other dignitaries present were S.D.Chandrasekar, VCW Secretary, P.K.P.Arun, Treasurer, and Members of the Management including S.N.K.Kulasekaran, N.Velumani and K.Rathimala and Dr.R. Parvathi, the Controller of Examinations.
 

Dr.S.K.Jayanthi, Principal, welcomed  the gathering and presented the annual report.
