Around 35, 619 candidates will attend Group 2 and 2 A exam (interview and non interview posts) in 117 centers in the district on Sunday. At the consultative meeting held at the Collectorate, Collector H Krishnanunni said candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall from 8:30 am to 9:00 am. Those arriving after 9:00 a.m. will not be allowed. In one examination hall, 400 candidates will write the examination.
To monitor the exam, 8 flying squad officers, 29 mobile teams, 120 videographers and 234 surveillance officers will involve. Question papers and answer sheets have been kept safe in the Erode district treasury. The district police and armed police are engaged in security. On the day of the exam, the question paper and answer sheet will be taken to the centers in mobile team vehicles with the help of armed police.State Transport Corporation buses are arranged to go to the exam halls. Uninterruped power supply will be provided, he added.
