85 new projects for the development of Erode district

Housing Minister S Muthusamy said that 85 new projects have been envisaged  for the development of Erode district.  Addressing the Aimperum Vizha of Arachalur  Navarasam Arts and Science College for Women, he said  Chief Minister MK Stalin has continued to develop various projects for the development of Tamil Nadu.

 As per his advice, 85 new projects have been developed in Erode district.  The most important of which is the construction of a new bus stand on 25 acres at  the Erode Solar area and a 15 acre new bus stand at  the Kaniravattar Lake area. 

 This will greatly help to reduce the traffic congestion in Erode city  at present.  A new indoor sports stadium and a large library will be set up at the government-owned Erode CN College.  All the facilities required for the students will be created there. 

 Previously when I was the Minister, the IRT Colleges of Engineering and Medical were created by the Department of Transport. In the medical college hospital special block for corona treatment was created and bed facility was increased from 500 to 1300 recently.  Students should know their talents and participate in all the competitions and succeed in life, he said.
