A conference on student leadership and growth organized in Coimbatore

Rotary Club of Coimbatore North in association with Dr NGP institute of technology organized a North star summit – A conference on student leadership and growth – at the college premises in the city on Wednesday. Over 800 students attended the summit.Adv AKS Rtn N Sundaravadivelu, DGN of RO District 3201 attended the summit as the chief guest. While addressing the gathering, he spoke about the need for empowering students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become effective leaders in their communities and beyond. 

Rotary Club 

Rtn CA S Prabhu, president of the Rotary Coimbatore North welcomed the gathering, while SU Prabha, principal of the college briefed the program. Thavamani D Palaniswami, secretary of the college spoke about the importance of leadership quality for students.While delivering the keynote address, Sivakumar Palaniappan, founder and director of Thinkfluence Global, spoke about the importance of leadership in today's society and the role that young people can play in creating positive change.

LS Jayagopal, managing director of Mithran Structures, who discussed the future outlook for 
engineers, power of networking and building strong relationships, and Venkatesh, MD of Gene Macron Media Interactive India Pvt Ltd, explained the topic - Persuasive Storytelling.RTn. Padmanaban Gopalan, founder of No food Waste, Karunamoorthy, MD of Wind Plus, D Aarthi, founder of Mentora, Skills for an Enriched life and Suganya Priyadharshini, associate professor, department of psychiatry, KMCH delivered their keynote address. Rtn K Vivekanandan, RYLA Chairman, RCC North, delivered the vote of thanks.
