A week-long FDP organized in Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science

A week-long faculty development programme was organzied by the internal quality assurance cell of Sri Ramakrishna college of arts and science on Tuesday. 

The topic of the programme is ‘strategical approaches towards enriching the quality in HEIs’. 
The principal and secretary of the institution BL Shivakumar presided over the function. 

Arockiasamy Soosaimanickam, Dean, University of Nizwa, Oman said, “Faculty development programmes are quite essential and it has to be conducted not just in this institution but in all other Higher Education Institutions. 

These days many changes are being implemented in the teaching process. Teachers has to act analysing the mentality of the students. Focus has to be given to reaching techniques rather than merely employing the teaching techniques. This will enhance the learning quality of the students and also will bridge a healthy relationship between teachers and students”. 
 

N Uma, IQAC director, Parvin Banu, IQAC coordinator and V Krishnapriya, NAAC Coordinator organized the programme and it was coordinated by V Nirmala Devi, Head Department of Commerce.
