A welcome Agreement

The Tamilnadu Government's Agreement with  the Postal Department and Banks to get Life Cerificates at the door step of Pensioners is to be welcomed  with appreciation.
Pension and Family Pension being received by aged persons, the beneficiaries have to go directly to submit their Life Certificates involving several hardships.

 The latest move of the Tamilnadu Government would  avoid this inconvenience and the Electionic Life Certificate is generated at the homes of the old aged Pensioners through Jeevan Pramaan website. The agreement with the Postal Department and Banks for this is to be appreciated.

The fee for obtaining a Life Certificate is fixed as Rs. 70. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the State Secretariat in the presence of Palanivel Thyagarajan, Finance Minister. The scheme deserves praise at it is very beneficial to the Senior Citizens.
