A Workshop on Facts of Science – Funny Learning

The department of Basic Science ( Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore organized a one day workshop on Facts of Science. The retired  DGP Mr Anoop Jaiswal was the resource person for the workshop infused facts of science with fun elements. 

With the help of scientific toys and household items (old cutlery, broken tubes and empty bottles) Anoop Jaiswal demonstrated the principles of physics the fun way. There is a reason behind why I make these toys out of rejects. I do not want children to think that they need a lot of money to carry out these physics experiments. The message is: Look at the world around you,” says Anoop. About 450 students from 20 Schools participated in the one-day workshop. 

Dr.B.L.Shivakumar, the Principal and Secretary of the college presented an award “Exemplary Science Motivator for Young Minds” to Mr. Anoop Jaiswal for his contribution for Science and conducting free science programme for  students after retirement.
