Adani Foundation constructs Community toilets near its Kattupalli Port

The Katupalli Port team along with the Adani Foundation today handed over 8 community toilets, housed in two buildings to the Kattur panchayat.  Prior to this, about 756 families residing in Kattur colony of Minjur Block have been trying to overcome insufficient toilet facilities and resultant health issues.  The Adani foundation team stationed at the Katupalli Port regularly works with the villagers to understand the issues being faced on the ground.

In the presence of Mr. K C Selvaraman, President, Kattur Panchayat, Ms. Nandhini Neelavannan, Counsellor, Ms. Revathi Shanmugam, Vice President, Kattur Panchayat, Village Leaders, Ward Members and community members, the Community Toilet for Women was inaugurated by Mr. RamdeKarangiya, Terminal Head of Adani Kattupalli Port and Mr. Chandra Shekhar Gowda, Chief Operating Officer, Adani Foundation.
