AIADMK stages massive stir against Power Tariff hike

AIADMK cadres staged massive stir at Gobi central bus stand on Monday in protest against steep rise in power tariff.

Heading the stir, Gobi MLA and former minister KA Sengottaiyan said that none could be  compared with great leaders of the party -MGR and Jayalalithaa -who removed the tears of poor by implementing various welfare schemes including Noonmeal, free cloth, free cycle, laptop distribution schemes  etc.

 Law and order was well maintained during their rule while Nazalism and Maoism were surfaced in various states. They dealt drought and flood situation ably and helped ryots much. 

On their footsteps, now, former CM  Edapadi Palaniswamy took charge of AIADMK thanks to the support of cadres. Only one leadership under EPS would help the growth of the party. Now DMK rule hiked power tariff, property, water tax etc while already price of all essential commodities rose steeply.

 The demand of the stir is withdrawal of power tariff and property tax hike immediately to reduce the burden on the people. As the Kongu region is the fort of AIADMK, the party would win in the coming LS poll, he added. Bavanisagar MLA Bannari and many functionaries attended the stir.
