AIADMK to hold executive committee meeting on May 2

AIADMK’s general secretary on Tuesday announced that his party will hold an executive committee meeting at the party headquarters in Royapettah in the city on May 2.
The meeting will take place at 4:30 pm on May 2 and it will be presided over by A Tamilmagan Hussain, read the statement released by EPS.  
The party has sent separate invitations to the members of the executive committee including district secretaries, MPs, MLAs and other members, the statement added.
EPS urged all the members to attend the meeting with their respective invitations.
Recently, Union minister and BJP leader Amit Shah had announced that the BJP will form an alliance with the AIADMK and they will face the 2026 state assembly election under the leadership of EPS.
In this context, the upcoming executive committee meeting will hold significance. 
Further, according to sources, the meeting will also address the dissatisfaction rose among party cadres following the announcement regarding alliance formation.
