AMMK demo against electricity tariff hike

Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam staged a demo against electricity tariff hike at Veerapanchatram Erode. Heading the stir, party organisation secretary Tulasi Mani and district secretary Shiv Prasad said that DMK came to power by making various false election promises.It has not been implemented so far. Many schemes of former Chief Minister Jayalalitha have been blocked. Electricity tariff hike has affected people severely. This government should immediately cancel the electricity tariff hike. The DMK said they will conduct a monthly electricity tariff survey. It did not do it.   Property tax has been hiked severely. 

Many ministers are talking arrogantly. Action should be taken action against the councilors, MLAs and Ministers who did not respect people. Prices of all commodities have gone up drastically. Crores are being spent on unpaved roads. Paddy procurement price should be increased to Rs 2500 per quintal.  Various promises like exemption from NEET and restoration of old pension scheme for government scheme  have not been fulfilled.  This is the Dravidian model government. So  the people will teach a lesson to the anti people DMK rule in the LS poll, they said.
