Applications invited for I-Day Award

In Erode district, women who have rendered outstanding service to the community and field work in organizations, can apply with the District Social Welfare Office to receive the award for Best Social Worker and Best Social Service Organization - 2022, Collector H Krishnaunni. 

Applicants for this award are natives of Tamil Nadu and above 18 years of age.  The social service agency must also be a government accredited institution.

Since the Chief Minister is to present the award for the best social worker and the best social service organization at the 2022 Independence Day celebrations, eligible persons and organizations from the district can apply for the award through the website. Two copies of autobiography printed in English and Tamil each should be submitted to the District Social Welfare Office, District Collectorate, by 30.06.2022, he added.
