Assembly panel inspects development projects

Tamil Nadu Assembly Assurance Committee Chairman T Udayasuriyan inspected the ongoing development projects and activities in Erode district on Monday.   He inspected ongoing Rs 412.12 cr Jaljeevan Mission Project (joint drinking water project works) for about 442 rural residences in 23 panchayats under Modakurichi Panchayat Union.

Kailasanathar temple

Further, they visited  the Kailasanathar temple, Chennimalai  which has been renovated at a cost of Rs. 17.50 lakhs and the improvement works are being carried out in the temple in view of the Kudamuzhukku.  In connection with the establishment of automatic cleaning equipment in the Aavin, Chithodu, (Erode District Milk Producers Union) for the production of quality milk and supply of milk by-products to the consumers, the Tamil Nadu Assembly Government Assurance Committee visited the butter, ghee packing and cooling room located there and inquired about the activities of the Aavin. After that, a review meeting was held in the Erode district collector's office under the chairmanship of Udayasuriyan.
