Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women grabbed one of the top three positions in the Innovation Stall Category during the IIC Regional Meet held on August, 6 at KMEA Engineering College in Kerala’s Kochi. As many as 61 institutions participated in the meet, which is an initiative of Ministry of Education (MoE) member of through MoE's Innovation Cell (MIC) in collaboration with AICTE.
The selected theme was ‘sustainability’ to manifest the concept of circular economy related to retaining functional value of the products as well as aiming for green environment.
The team was awarded in the presence of Dipan Sahu, assistant innovation director, MoE's Innovation Cell, Abishek Ranjan, innovation officer-cum-IIC zonal coordinator (SWRO & CRO), TM Amar Nishad , principal of KMEA , V Decade, regional office, SWRO, AICTE.
