Avinashilingam Institute celebrates I Day in grand manner at Coimbatore

Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore
celebrated the 78th Independence Day in grand manner. The Institution has been recently ranked 98 by NIRF.  
The students of Avinahilingam School participated and spoke in Gram Sabha to ensure transparency accountability in public participation.
Dr. V.Bharathi Harishankar delivered the Independence Day message.  She voiced   "Be an Indian and Be a human, before celebrating the success in your life.”  She also highlighted the students to be proud to being Indian as it is our identity. 
She also emphasized the need to monitor the thoughts, words and actions that determine the quality of one's life, uphold non-violence and stand by the mantra 'SatyamevaJayate'. She voiced the students to build up the skills for the development of the nation.  
Dr. T.S.K. Meenakshisundaram, Chancellor hoisted the National Flag, took the salute and administered the National Integration pledge for the students of the 
institution.
