Avinashilingam Institute holds Kalai Vizha

Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women celebrated the annual Kalai Vizha on Oct 13. Dr.K.Kulandaivelvel, Former Chancellor and Life time Trustee, The Avinashilingam Education Trust, inaugurated the flower decoration. Dr.T.S.K.Meenakshisundaram, Chancellor, Avinashilingam Institute inaugurated the Textiles Expo. Dr. V.Bharathi Harishankar, Vice Chancellor, inaugurated the Kolu. Dr.S.Kowsalya, Registrar, inaugurated the Club activities and Dr.M.Rajesh, Trustee, inaugurated the Food Expo and Canteen. 

The Chancellor Dr.T.S.K.Meenakshisundaram, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women presided over the meeting and delivered the presidential address. 

The former Chancellor Dr.K.Kulandaivel recollected the vivid memories of the rich Indian cultural heritage.

 Dr. Gowri Ramakrishnan, Assistant Managing Trustee inaugurated the Kalai Vizha. Dr.S.Kowsalya praised the efforts of the students and their club activities. 

Dr.S.Amsamani, Dean, School of Home Science, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Vasuki Raja, Dean, Student Affairs, handed over the mementos to the dignitaries. Dr. A.Jayasree did the Master of Ceremony. Dr.S.Ayisha Begam, Associate Professor, thanked the gathering.
