Avinashilingam University faculty and student win best NSS officer and student award

Faculty members and an NSS student volunteer from Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women have been honored with the Tamil Nadu State National Service Scheme (NSS) Best Programme Officer and Volunteer Awards for their outstanding contributions to community 
service. 
Best NSS Programme Officer Awardees: Dr. P Deivanai (2015-16), Dr. D Sumathi (2016-17), Dr. R Radha (2017-18).  Best NSS Volunteer Award: A Saranya.
The NSS programme officers and student volunteers of Avinashilingam University have been actively engaged in community service and welfare initiatives in 26 adopted villages in and around Coimbatore. Their work includes raising awareness on health, nutrition, environment, and literacy.
The awards, presented annually, recognise the efforts of NSS Programme Officers, Volunteers, and Coordinators across Tamil Nadu. The Director of College Education, A Sundaravalli, presented the awards at a ceremony held on February 18.
This recognition highlights Avinashilingam University's commitment to social responsibility and the impactful role of its faculty and students in community development.
