Awareness created against bursting fire crackers

Panchayat leaders along with industrialists created awareness among the public not to use firecrackers on the occasion of Diwali near Minjur in Kontakarai panchayat.  Pamphlets were distributed to the public urging them not to use firecrackers as many  factories including gas filling plants, chemical factories and petroleum factories are located  close to the village.  The awareness programme was presided over by the councillor Ramesh.
