Ministry of Education (MoE)'s Innovation Cell, AICTE along with Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) and Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) have launched ‘KAVACH-2023’ a unique national Hackathon which provided opportunity for higher institutional students and Startups to submit their innovative ideas/concepts.
Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) Team named “Little Champs”-Vinith Kumar T, Kaviranjani V, Praneeka K K, Magathi M, and Sakthi Nivashini V-from AI Based Industrial Automation Lab proposed a project idea of “Next-generation Crime Detection System”.
During the grand finale round of KAVACH 2023 held at Pillai College of Engineering, Mumbai from Aug 8 to 10, the team won First Prize with cash award of Rs.1 lakh.
