'BJP is not against Minorities'

'BJP is not against Minorities'

''BJP is not against minorities. But, deliberately, a false propaganda is being made against it by some parties and persons like Dr Saravanan who quit BJP Madurai district party organiser post a new days back'', said BJP Erode South District Minority wing president Michael.

He alongwith party functionaries Kalibulla, Gajarashid Khan, Pravin Kumar, Manikandan,  Senthil, and Annadurai said in a press meet at the party office on Monday ''BJP alone made Abdul Kalam as President of the nation and wanted to elect him second time also to the post.

But, Congress and its allies didn't support him. In Goa and North Eastern states, BJP has many ministers of minorities community. Without any discrimination in the angle of caste, creed and religion, the BJP rule was enforcing all welfare schemes including Housing for All, PM's Ayushman Bharath, Mudra, Startup, Stand Up and education assistance up-to research studies etc for minorities.

So, even in Muslim dominated areas also in UP and Bihar, BJP captured many seats in Assembly and LS polls.

The Center's assistance for renovating their worshipping places was continuing and all rights of minority educational institutions were continuing.

The previous Congress rule followed minorities appeasement policy as against the spirit of Constitution that all should be treated equally.

But, BJP follows the Constitution in its letter and spirit  and was working for the welfare of all including minorities. Seven ministers from TN were in the previous Cong-DMK UPA rule. But, none of them was minority.

But, BJP offered union minister post to a minority though it has no MP in Kerala. In fact, the BJP rule alone passed Muslim Women (protection of rights on marriage) Act 2019 against triple Talaq to protect Muslim women.

But, the previous Rajiv Gandhi rule amended Constitution to nullify SC verdict in Shabano maintenance case and thus left Muslim women in lurch, they noted.
