BJP lodges complaint in SP office

BJP functionaries led by district general secretary Gunasekaran filed a petition at the Erode SP office demanding stoppage of a weekly shandy at Pachapali due to the intimidation of some  DMK men. 

The market is held on Saturdays near Pachapali Ganesha Temple area. 
The locals charge a small amount from the traders to conduct poojas in the temple with the donation of locals. Some DMK men who are currently collecting toll in the Erode market, told  traders ‘From now on we will be the authority in collecting toll in the Pachapali market also'',  causing tension and conflict in the area. 

The villagers prefer not to hold weekly market in the area due to the tense situation. So, the weekly market operating in the area should be stopped and the tension should be alleviated, they pleaded.
