Cadres should alone elect general secretary of AIADMK: Sasikala

Over 1.5 cr cadres should alone elect general secretary of AIADMK, said the expelled leader of the party Sasikala, while visiting Sri Badrakaliamman temple, Anthiyur.

 Addressing people, she said the founder of the party MGR alone created that rule to check moneyed people to come to that post after being expelled him from DMK by a few persons who didn't tolerate his growing popularity among people. 

 The same rule was followed by Jayalalithaa who has massive support of cadres. But the rule was removed now. 

 However, she hoped the cadres wish would soon be fulfilled as they and people have lot of faith on her. 

 She assured to bring back Amma's rule in the state to help people  more on the footsteps of late CMs MGR and Jayalalithaa. 

She sought an explanation from the government who ordered the police to remove AIADMK party flags during her visit to various areas whether present rulers  or previous rulers
