Cake mixing ceremony held at hotel Hash six

Ahead of Christmas, the annual cake mixing ceremony took place at Hash six hotel in Mettupalayam road near Sai Baba colony in the city on Sunday. The hotel’s executive Chef Raja presided over the ceremony while director of Martin group of companies and coordinator of Rotary international 3201 (children welfare) Leema Rose Martin and Rotary governors Rajmohan Nair and Meera Nair took part as chief guests in the ceremony.

Assistant general manager of the hotel MS Shahool Hameed Sheriff said, “Cake mixing ceremony is an age-old practice followed all over the world ahead of Christmas. We would be preparing a 200 kilograms weigh cake.”
Leema Rose Martin said, “The cake mixing ceremony has been taking place for the third consecutive year and the cake would be kept safely in air-tight bags till Christmas.
