CEO holds meeting with political parties

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Satyabrata Sahoo on Monday held a meeting with representatives from recognized political parties at the secretariat in the city. 
The meeting comes ahead of the parliamentary election in 2024.
The election commission is likely to schedule parliamentary election in the months of April and May. Both the political parties and the election commission have been doing all the necessary preparatory work.
The election commission is likely to release the draft electoral roll on November 27 after carrying out correction works on November 4, 5, 18 and 19.
