Chathurthi Celebration in over 1000 places in Erode

Ganesha idols were consecrated at over 1000 places by Hindu Munnani in the district on the occasion of Chaturthi celebration on Wednesday.

 In Erode Sampath Nagar, an 11 ft high idol was kept by the Munnani for public worship and special poojas were held in all temples.At Thalawadi, a 7 feet high idol of Ganesha was consecrated near the Thalawadi bus station by the Munnani. Following this, special poojas were performed to Lord Ganesha. 

A large number of devotees participated in the poojas and worshiped the God. 
Similarly, at Punjaipuliyampatti an 11-feet tall Ganesha statue has been consecrated in front of the bus stand by the Munnani Hindu Munnani. The Munnani is going to hold the idol immersion procession in various places of the district during the next three days.
