Children's Day Celebration held with gaiety at Montfort Community School

Children's Day was celebrated at Montfort Community Tribal School, Yercaud, Salem District. Swami Sathiswarananda from Sri Ramakrishna Mission, Salem was the special guest of the event.  Mr. Muthukumaran, and Mr. Vimalan, President and Secretary of the Salem District Athletic Professor. Dr. M. Kumaraswamy, Former Principal, Balamurugan Arts and Science College and Mr. Bhaskar CA graced the occasion.

The special guests presented prizes and certificates to the students who won the competitions such as fancy dress competition, essay competition, poetry competition, speech competition, flower bouquet decoration, group singing, group dance, cooking competition, kolapoti, Thirukkural reciting etc. were held on the occasion of Children's Day.

In their speech, the special guests encouraged the students to make use of the opportunities provided by the school and not stop with school studies but to pursue higher education and excel in the society. School Principal Bro.Dr.George K.J, Bro.Lawrence and Bro.Anthony presented certificates and medals to the students who won the overall championship title in the center and district level athletics competitions for the year 2022-23 organized by Tamil Nadu School Education Department.

The special guests felicitated the winners of the state level dance competition held at Loyola College, Metalla, Namakkal and presented the trophy.Finally, the festival ended on a sweet note with Nattupann. Sweets were distributed to the students by the teachers.
