CM to unveil Karunanidhi statue on Aug 25

CM MK Stalin will declare open late CM M Karunanidhi's statue  at Kallipatti in TN Palayam block at 5 pm on August 25, Housing Minister S Muthusamy said.

 Presiding over the DMK North and South district units meeting held here on Sunday to prepare cadres for CM's visit, he said that after attending various functions at Tirupur on August 25 morning, he would visit Kallipatti via Perumanallur to unveil the statue and return to Erode Kalingarayan government guest house and stay there. 

On the next day, he would visit Solar, near Erode, at 9.30 am, and attend a government function to launch various schemes and distribute various welfare aid to public. 

Then,  he would return to the guest house and go to Coimbatore airport to go to Chennai, he added. Party North District secretary N Nallasivam, party functionaries SLTP Sachidandam, Mayor Nagarathinam Subramaniam, MLA AG Venkatachalam and many others attended.
