Coimbatore collector, city mayor and corporation commissioner inaugurated 1500 saplings

Coimbatore collector Kranthikumar Pati, city mayor Kalpana Anandkumar and corporation commissioner M Pratap inaugurated 1500 sapling plantation work along excess water canal of Kurichi lake under Miyawaki project that was jointly carried out by the city corporation, water resource department, Kovai Kulangal Padukappu Iyyakam, ZF wind power Coimbatore private limited and volunteers. Deputy mayor Vetriselvan, zonal chairpersons Dhanalakshmi and Kathirvel, public health committee chairman Mariselvan, ruling party leader Karthikeyan, councilors Rajkumar, Babu and Senthil Kumar, assistant commissioner Annadurai and others were present at the event.
