Coimbatore Corporation East Zonal Head takes charge

Lakshmi Ilanselvi Karthik, Member of the 52nd Ward Council, assumed charge as the Eastern Zonal Head of the Coimbatore Corporation today at the Zonal Office. 

Following this, she met the press and said, “In the case of Coimbatore Corporation East Zone, the 
existing drinking water problem, sewerage problem, road problems and other such civic issues would be immediately resolved. 

Action will be taken through minister Senthil Balaji and with the funds of the Corporation.” She said that steps would be taken to transform the eastern zone into a fully furnished area of Coimbatore. 

He also said that appropriate action would be taken on those petitions.

At the swearing-in ceremony, Coimbatore East District Secretary and former MLA N Karthik and other DMK functionaries were present.
