Collector distributes education aid to girls

Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar distributed education aid under the Pudhumai Pengal Scheme to 1099 women for their higher studies.

The aid of Rs 1000 per month was given under the Muvalur Ramamirtham Ammayyar Higher Education  Scheme for women who studied in the government schools.

 In the first phase 5026 women got the benefit and now another 1099 were given the benefit. The function was held in the TNAU, Coimbatore. TNAU VC Geethalakshmi and many others attended the function
