Collector distributes Rs.1.86 cr benefits

The Nilgiris District Collector SP Amrith distributed Rs 1.86 cr government benefits, including house site pattas, ration cards, accident relief, hearing aid, sewing machine, agri implements, etc,  to 182 persons at the mass contact program held at the TNEB playground at Keezhkunda village, Kunda Taluk, on Wednesday.
He said the officials received 97 petitions from public for 3 days in the area and on that basis the aid was given. 
He received many petitions from public and inspected an hour expo arranged by various departments. 
DRDA project director Uma Maheshwari, RDO Duraisamy, PA general to Collector Danapriya, 
 Assistant Commissioner (Excise) Kannan,  Horticulture Deputy Director  Shribilamary, Health Deputy Director Balusamy, DIC  GM Shanmugasiva, Tahdco manager Ravichandran, District social welfare officer Praveenadevi, district backward class officer Loganathan, district SC ST welfare officer Selvakumar, and many others attended the function.
