Collector distributes Rs 4.30 cr govt benefits to 481 persons

Coimbatore Collector Kranthikumar Padi distributed government welfare assistance worth Rs. 4.30 crore to 381 beneficiaries at the mass contact program held at Kalikanayakanpalayam village, Perur circle on Wednesday.


In this camp  Thaliyur Town Panchayat Chairman Mr. Thandapani, Thenkarai Chairman Mrs. Mahalakshmi Prashanth, Thaliyur Deputy Chairperson Mrs. Malarvizhi Prabhu,  and RDO Bandarinathan attended.
The Collector said through the public relations camp, a village in each taluk is selected and petitions are obtained regarding the needs of the area, and on the basis of that, the beneficiaries are provided government welfare benefits.

The concerned department officers have been instructed to take prompt action on the various petitions submitted by the public in this camp held today.


People's Grievance Day meeting is held every week on Monday in District Collector's Office. 
Also, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu announced a program called 'Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril.' Under this scheme, one taluk is selected every month and all government department officials stay 24 hours a day, visit the hospital, Anganwadi center, schools etc to solve the problems in the area. He also explained various welfare schemes of the government.
