Collector receives 168 petitions

Collector H Krishnanunni and DRO Santhoshini Chandra received 168 petitions at the public grievance redressal meeting, regarding various demands from the public, at the Collectorate on Monday. He ordered immediate action against them. 

The residents of Kannimarkadu area, Chithodu, pleaded to them to stop dumping of 15 tractors of garbage in their area by the town Panchayat to check environment pollution problem in the residential area. 

A section of people of Chithodu pleaded to them to restore their Kuladeiyvam Temple at Karungalpalayam, Erode, which was occupied by others. Members of Erode District association for persons who qualified in conducting artificial insemination pleaded to appoint them as veterinary assistants in the ongoing recruitment drive.

 The residents of Komarayanur, Anthiyur, demanded closure of jelly crusher unit in the residential area as it causes great health hazard to them.
