Collector releases Rs 3565 cr ACP

Nilgiris District Collector SP.Amrith released Rs 3565 cr annual credit plan (ACP) for the year of 2023-2024 for the district in the bankers' meeting held at Nilgiri District Collector's Office, on behalf of the District Lead Bank. He said crop, commercial and other loans are provided annually to the public, SHGs and farmers through nationalized banks.  For this, the banks set a loan target of Rs.3565 crore and of which Rs. 2460 crores have been allocated for starting agriculture-related industries, Rs. 894 crores for the development of small and medium industries, and Rs. 211 crores for other priority loans, he said. In this meeting, Women Program Director Mr. Balaganesh, Zonal Joint Director (Livestock Maintenance Department) Mr. Bhagwatsingh, Deputy Director Horticulture Department Ms.Shibila Mary, District Industrial Center General Manager Mr.Shanmukha Siva, NABARD Bank Assistant General Manager Mr.Thirumalai Rao, District Lead Bank Manager Mr.Sasikumar Chakrapani, Bank Managers and many government officials were present.
