Conduct caste census to ensure social justice: Stalin to Modi

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take immediate steps to conduct caste census along with population survey to ensure social justice and to attain equal growth across the country. 
In a letter, Stalin said, “The union government should immediately take steps to conduct caste census along with the population survey to ensure social justice and to attain equal growth across the country. 
Since the population survey was not conducted in 2021, it should be conducted along with the caste census. 
Though steps were taken at state level, the union government should take steps and conduct a survey at the national level. Only then equality and social justice can be ensured in the country.”
