Congress cadres stage demo against ED

Congress functionaries staged a demonstration at Erode against the case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on party leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

They said the case was registered to check Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi  to check them to highlight omissions and commissions of the Modi government. 

The BJP leader  Subramaniam Swamy filed a false complaint against them in the National Herald issue. The newspaper and its assets were owned by Congress party. So, the Centre has no locus standi to register case against them and harass them in the name of inquiry for many hours. 

They said the Modi rule failed in all aspects and to hide it only, it took action on Congress leaders who sacrificed their assets and lives for the welfare of the nation during independent struggle and after that. 

So,  Congress cadres and leaders would not afraid to such cases. Now, Modi rule  levied GST on essential foodgrains and even on the stationeries used by students. 

If the same trend continues, GST would be levied on people walking on road, the sleeping in houses, new born babies etc.
