Corona vaccination camp at 3,194 centres

A special corona vaccination camp will be held on Sunday at 3,194 centres in Erode district, Collector H Krishnanunni said. He said the vaccination camp will be held on May 8 at one lakh centers across Tamil Nadu to control the spread of the fourth wave of corona. 1.50 lakh corona vaccines will be distributed free of cost from 7 am to 7 pm at 3,194 centers in Erode district, including government hospitals, government primary health centers, urban health centers and schools.  It is planned to use 4,260 personnel and 66 vehicles for the camp across the district.

The vaccine will be given free of cost to all. Thus, those above 18 years of age, 12 to 14 years of age and 15 to 18 years of age in the  district are advised to be vaccinated without fear or hesitation, he said.
