Corpn imposes fine for dumping building materials on roads

Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Ma.Sivaguru Prabhakaran has directed the officials to impose fines on the owners of buildings carrying out works by piling up the construction materials on the roads in the areas under the Coimbatore Corporation and causing harm to the public.
In Coimbatore Corporation West Zone, Ward No. 71, he slapped a fine of Rs.1,00,000 and Rs.50,000 on those who dumped the construction materials on the roads. He ordered the concerned authorities to dispose of the materials. He ordered the concerned authorities to impose fines on the owners of buildings carrying out works by piling up construction materials on the roads in a way that obstructs the traffic and harms the public and dispose of the construction materials immediately.
