The grand Maasi Magam car festival at the Karamadai Aranganathar temple commenced on February 18th, drawing a multitude of devout worshippers to seek the blessings of the deity. The occasion witnessed a vibrant display of religious fervour as devotees assembled at the temple premises to participate in various rituals and ceremonies.
The festivities commenced with the traditional flag hoisting ceremony. This sacred ritual marked the onset of one of the most revered festivals in Coimbatore.
Among the highlights of the festival was the Thirukalyana Utsavam held early in the morning, wherein devotees had the opportunity to offer their prayers to Sridevi Bhoodevi Sametha Aranganatha Perumal. With more than 1500 devotees in attendance, the event resonated with profound devotion as worshippers sought the blessings of the deity.
As part of the celebrations, Sridevi Bhoodevi Sametha Aranganatha Perumal graciously blessed the devotees as they gathered along the Thiruveedi road.
