Dialysis on Call scheme inaugurated

Modakkurichi MLA Dr CK Saraswathi has launched a new program called 'Dialysis on Call' scheme and Liver Transplant Clinic at Abrami Kidney Care Hospital, Erode on Friday.In his speech, the hospital director and Erode IMA secretary Dr T Saravanan said ''the dialysis on call scheme is intoduced with Nephroplus which operated the scheme in 120 centres in the nation. 

Instead of going to hospitals, the sick patients, who are not able to come to hospitals, can invite a mobile dialysis unit having RO plant by a phone call, to get the unit in their houses to get dialysis treatment. 

If they visut other states, they can call and use the service of Nephroplus as the firm has 6 centres in Delhi. One out of 10 lakh people was suffering with acute liver failure problem. For such persons, even kidney transplantion is done due to kidney failure, they could not recover. So,  they went to Chennai for liver transplantation. Now,  his hospital tied up with MGM Healthcare to set up liver transplantation centre at Erode itself.

 
The  benefits of both the schemes can be availed by using the CM Health insurance scheme, he added. The hospital chairman Thangavelu, Dr Karthik Mathivanan, Dr Poornima, Dr Gobinath,  Erode IMA president Dr Senthilkumar spoke.
