Director Mani Ratnam tests positive for Covid-19 infection, hospitalised

 Director Mani Ratnam tested positive for Covid-19 infection. He is admitted in a private hospital for treatment. 

At present, covid-19 cases have been increasing gradually in the state and the government has been imposing measures to contain the spread. 

It was only a day ago that the chief minister MK Stalin, who had tested positive for the infection, had returned home from hospital after recovering from the infection. Now, the filmmaker has tested positive. 

He had attended the funeral of filmmaker-actor Pratap Pothen a few days ago.
