District transport officer removes stickers from the windshield in Nilgiris

In a recent operation, Nilgiris District Transport Officer Thiagarajan led a surprise inspection at Ooty's Charing Cross area. The inspection targeted vehicles with unauthorised stickers such as "Police," "Ex-Army," and "Press" on their windshields and number plates. During the inspection, the district transport officer personally removed these stickers and emphasised that such checks would continue throughout the district in the coming days.
Thiagarajan explained that in recent times, many vehicle owners have started displaying stickers related to their jobs or affiliations, which prompted the need for this inspection.
