DRO receives 186 petitions

A public grievance day meeting was held at the Erode District Collector's Office under the chairmanship of District Revenue Officer 
S. Santhoshini Chandra. A total of 186 petitions were received regarding various demands including departmental action, education loan, business loan, drinking water facility, road facility, infrastructure development, old age, diffables pension etc. 

She directed the officials to take immediate action on all petitions. She reviewed the action taken on the individual petitions, including the petitions sent to camp the CM office.  At the meeting, she launched a signature movement and an awareness art program on the abolition of bonded labour.
The meeting was attended by the Joint Commissioner of Labour Sasikala and others.
