Education dept staff seek change of working hours

TN education department administrative officials association held its state executive at Erode. The Union state president A Sekar, general secretary Pon Jayaram, treasurer N Vinothkumar, functionaries  CJ Kurinjivelan, S Vijayamanoharan, C Selvakumar, Pandithurai, Thirupathi, Rajesh, Kumar, Ezhililamvazhuthi, Pachiammal, David Christopher, and P Palanivel attended. 
The demands are:
1.Government should reconsider the change of working hours of the ministerial staff which was changed from 10 am to 5.45 pm to 9.00 am to 4.45 pm. 
2. Orders for  giving compassionate appointments in School Education Department, regularisation, probation period, Pre-dated regularisation, etc. be issued without delay.
3. The anomalies in the promotion of lab assistants as junior assistants be removed and demoting those who have already been promoted be stopped. 
4. Employees who have worked in an office for more than 3 years were given transfer through general counselling. 
Now, in the name of mutual consent, the staff were again came to the office where they served already. Such action be stopped. 
5. The staff be given higher education incentive as given already. 
6. Time scale for the staff working in the Government Model Schools through RMSA scheme. 
7. The staff be given laptops to do various works of the department speedily.
