EPS writes to Parliament speaker informing him about the removal of Theni MP from the party

AIADMK interim general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami had written to the parliament speaker Om Birla informing him about the removal of OP Raveendranath from the party. 

During the general council meeting, a decision was made unanimously to remove O Panneerselvam, Vaithilingam, Manoj Pandian and JCD Prabhakar from the party posts. Subsequently, supporters of Panneerselvam were also expelled from the party. 
 

On Tuesday, the party removed Panneerselvam from the post of deputy opposition leader and replaced him with former minister RB Udayakumar. In this situation, sons of Panneerselvam - OP Raveendranath, Theni Lok Sabha MP, and VP Jayapradeep - were expelled from the party.

 Now, AIADMK interim general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami had written to the parliament speaker Om Birla informing him about the removal of Raveendranath from the party. 
 

If the letter is accepted by the speaker, then Raveendranath would become an independent MP.
