Erode MP requests to celebrate DMK's Pavala Vizha in grand manner

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Tamil Nadu  and the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board jointly launched Manjapai Scheme in 2023-2024 to promote the use of traditional and eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastic products.  
Kongu Arts and Science College, which is the best performing college under the project, was selected to receive the Manjapai Award for the year 2023-2024 and the first prize of Rs.10 lakhs was presented by Minister for Environment and Climate Change by V. Siva Meyyanathan at a function held at Chennai on August 28.  This is the first year that the Manjapai Award Scheme has been announced. 
The Principal, Heads of Departments, Professors and students of the college who were responsible for getting this award were congratulated by the President of the Trust Dr. R. Kumaraswamy, Secretary Mr. P. Sathyamurthy, Treasurer Mr. K. V. Ravishankar and Correspondent of the College Mr. P. D. Thangavel and the members of the Foundation.
