Ex-Minister's plea to withdraw case registered on EPS

Former Minister and Kumarapalayam MLA P Thangamani led a massive demonstration at Namakkal on Tuesday in protest against registration of false case against former CM and  AIADMK interim general secretary EPS in connection with an incident in the airport at Madurai.

In his speech,  he said that the incident indicated that even the opposition leader and former CM didn't have security in the state. So,  how can people would be protected.  Murders and robberies are happening daily in Tamil Nadu. Why was a false case filed against EPS who is working for the people. 

The massive protests were held all over the state to condemn the action of foisting false cases against EPS and others. He insisted the government to withdraw the case immediately. Many party functionaries including Pallipalayam town secretary PS Velliangiri, block secretary Senthil, TK Subramaniam, Saravanan, and Jaiganesh attended the stir.
