Foundation stone laid for Jallikattu event at Coimbatore

The foundation stone was laid to commence the works for Jallikattu ‘bull taming sport’ that is scheduled to take place on April 27 near L and T bypass in the city on Monday. 
The event will be inaugurated by the deputy chief minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. 
The foundation stone was laid by the Jallikattu council president and DMK’s southern district secretary Thalapathy Murugesan in the presence of the party’s district secretary N Karthik, Thondamuthur Ravi, Tamizhar Jallikattu cultural centre secretary Krishnamoorthy, chief executive committee member Airport Rajendran, advocate Krishnamoorthy, Gomathi Selvakumar, Salam Badshah and other party members.
