Ganesha Idol Expo begins at Poompuhar

Exhibition and sale of Ganesh  idols in connection with the Vinayagar Chaturthi festival of on August 31 started at the government owned Erode Poompuhar showroom on Wednesday. 

Poompuhar outlet is functioning near Erode Mettur Road-Govt Hospital Road junction. In this regard, the outlet manager Saravanan said: Ganesha idols made of Panchalokam, brass, paper pulp, clay, plaster, marble powder, mauvakal, karungal, white wood, rose wood, black metal, white metal, crystal Ganesha, Thanjavur painting, Ganesha on art plates and various Ganesha idols are placed in different colored patterns. 

Vinayagar idols cost is ranging from Rs.75 to Rs.1 lakhs. A 10 percent discount will also be offered on certain items at the fair. He said that this exhibition and sale will be held till August 31. All credit and debit cards are accepted, he added.
